Here is the Story of Jin Tao...at least from what we know... This is also from our Paperwork from Last March....
Zhang Jin Tao’s Growth Report
On May 21, 2006 at 4:30 p.m., a male infant was found outside the door of family Liu Xiao Xiang’s residence who reside at: No. 1 Sheng Hang Jun Ma Villa neighborhood; Zhangjiagang City, Yang She Township. When resident Liu Xiao Xiang came back home from work, he made the discovery. He reported the infant by dialing emergency “110” Zhangjiagang City’s Public Security Bureau’s Cheng Hang Police Station sent officer Huang Jian to Investigate. Attempts to locate the infant’s birth parents were unsuccessful. The infant was then brought to Zhangjiagang City Children’s Welfare Institute for caretaking and his birthday was estimated to have been September 21, 2005.
As you can tell from this, it would seem that Jin Tao was with his "family" for the first 6 months of his life (unlike Mei-Leigh who was found at about 1 day old) and for some reason, his mother, had to make a very difficult decision and leave her son for someone to find. I do not pretend to know all the reasons for her decisions, but what I do know is she left Jin Tao in a safe place (on a families door step) to insure that he would be found quickly.
